Happy End of December (or do people say Merry December?)!
I’m super excited that it’s my favorite month of the year! I’ve always loved December because it’s right after thanksgiving (who doesn’t love pigging out on thanksgiving), my (my grandma’s and my dad’s and London-Poo’s) birthday, Christmas and New Years! Outside of all those things, I always feel like December is a great time to reflect on the entire year, consider what goals you’ve accomplished, what goals you plan on accomplishing next year as well as consider the highlights from the year.
I like to assess my years like a Pros and Cons List. I know life isn’t that simple but as a person who thrives on Pros and Cons, this helps me better understand the year. I started looking at my years like this about two years ago because I had said I was having a bad year. Someone challenged me on it and made me write it all out. Then when I actually wrote it out all the “bad” things compared to the “good” things – it turned out that I had a lot more good things happen to me, and that I was essentially milking all the “bad” things into lasting longer.
